The Fox Lake District Library strives to provide quality informational and recreational materials, programs for all ages, and resources to meet the needs of the community. FLDL is dedicated to providing a safe environment supporting everyone within our community.

The Collection

Our collection includes over 107,000 items including books, magazines, newspapers, audiobooks, music CDs, DVDs, Blu-rays, video games, e-books, e-audiobooks, digital magazines, Playaway® Wonderbooks, Great Courses, Playaway® Launchpads, Early Literacy Kits, and Engagement Bags.

Public Internet

We offer free wifi for personal devices and twenty-four public Internet terminals including six terminals in the Children’s Library. Adults are welcome to use the Children’s Computer Lab if accompanying youth. Adults without children in the library are asked to use the Adult Computer Lab on the second floor.

Service Area

The Fox Lake District Library serves most of Grant Township, Illinois, with a total service population of 25,284 people (2010 census) in Fox Lake, Ingleside and portions of Lakemoor, Round Lake, Spring Grove, Volo and also small portions of Antioch and Burton Townships.
